Will retire from politics if BJP implements Rs 1500 Laxmi Bhandar Scheme: Abhishek Banerjee

Trinamool's National General Secretary, Abhishek Banerjee, issued a direct challenge to the BJP during a rally in Mathurapur, stating, "if BJP announces to give Rs 1500 per month for Laxmi Bhandar Scheme in its states, then I will retire from politics."

He further intensified the challenge by declaring that if "Modi government makes gas Rs 1100 free, then Trinamool will withdraw candidates from all 42 seats," outlining the party's stance on key welfare schemes and policies.
